Where it all began.
Nicolas, the founder of E-Dolphin, grew up along the Mediterranean coast in the south of France. From a young age, he spent countless hours riding personal watercraft and often experienced the magical moments of being accompanied by dolphins gliding alongside him.
However, those enchanting encounters also brought a sobering realization: the dolphins were being exposed to the harmful pollutants emitted by traditional watercraft—noise pollution, harmful fuel discharges, and exhaust fumes.
At the time, Nicolas was working in the electric vehicle industry. Driven by his passion for the ocean and a commitment to sustainability, he set out on a mission: to revolutionize the watercraft industry by transitioning it to a zero-emission, eco-friendly practice. His vision was clear—to return to those magical encounters with dolphins, this time with a watercraft that left no harmful footprint. And so, E-Dolphin was born.
In 2018, the journey began with intensive research and development. At that point, there were no existing solutions for powering an electric personal watercraft. From day one, the team had to design an entirely new powertrain, which included custom batteries, a bespoke system, and specialized engines. Several prototypes were built, each with different types of batteries, drive systems, and engines.
By 2020, the first patented E-Dolphin powertrain was developed, rigorously tested, and successfully validated.
Since then, E-Dolphin has continued to push the boundaries of innovation. The powertrain has been refined to deliver exceptional performance and efficiency. It is now paired with a custom-designed hull, meticulously crafted to maximize the benefits of the electric system while ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride.

What is the difference between a combustion jet ski and the E-Dolphin ?
The main difference is the electric drive system, which lets the E-Dolphin glide silently through the water. It also requires less maintenance and has much lower running costs compared to traditional jet skis.
What kind of maintenance does the E-Dolphin need?
Thanks to its durable materials and electric engine, maintenance is simple and minimal. The manual includes a quick guide with cleaning tips and basic maintenance checks to keep your jet ski in top condition.
How can I order the E-Dolphin, and when will it be available?
You can pre-order the E-Dolphin on our website. Deliveries will start in Europe in Q3 2025. A list of official dealers will also be available on our website soon.
How long does a fully charged E-Dolphin last?
It depends on how you ride and the number of passengers. With one rider and full power use, the Sports-Pack allows for about 1 hour of riding. For slower, relaxed rides, you can get more than 2 hours on a full charge.
How do I charge the E-Dolphin ?
You can charge it at any standard outlet or a fast-charging station, similar to an electric car. Charging times are :
Fast charging : 2h30 min with monophase AC (220V) &Type 2
Ultra Fast Charging : less than 30min with triphase DC (380V) & CCS
Standard charging : 8 hours with monophase (220V)
Is the E-Dolphin safe on the water?
Yes, the E-Dolphin is as safe as traditional jet skis. The electrical systems and batteries are fully insulated and constantly monitored for safety. The battery is protected by a puncture-resistant shell, certified for marine use, and has an IP67 rating for water resistance.
What is the warranty, and where can I get it serviced?
The E-Dolphin comes with a two-year warranty. Service and repairs can be handled by authorized providers or at our main factory.
